While in LA casting for Wizard Models in Tokyo. I got the chance to interview with an awesome young LA model, MORGAN DIXON. She is the HOLLISTER GIRL 2011 & 2012, which was shot by the world renowned photographer Bruce Weber!!
Morgan travels a lot between Los Angeles and New York, as well as various other shoot locations. She has been featured in a television commercial National Ad Campaign as the Pure Silk girl, as well as numerous print and catalogue ad campaigns.
Morgan has modeled for many ad campaigns, but just a few are: ABERCROMBIE & FITCH, PURE SILK, HOLLISTER, FOREVER 21, and LUCKY BRAND.
As you can see from her client list and from her advice in the interview below.. Morgan has found her niche as a healthy swimsuit and jeans girl, and she has been in high demand as one of the top working models in the Los Angeles area.

I love how Morgan mentions that modeling is hard work! A lot of models will sign with an agency and think they will be working with the top clients the next week.. it’s a progress and each client and job leads to more jobs, builds your book and once you get in the groove, you start to figure it all out! Great advice..
Not everyone is going to be able to work in New York, but you can always have a great career working in Miami or LA.
Also, you don’t have to be working in LA or NY to shoot with the amazing Bruce Weber. Actually, one of MY first jobs modeling, back in ’99, was with the legendary Bruce.. I can say from experience it was AWESOME and I learned so much that day from working with him!!
