My Dog

This is my Dog Keelo Chai.. He is an amazing mixed pup from the mountains of new Mexico. I picked him out of a litter of adorable pedigree puppies. The breeder pushed me to pick one of the full bred beauties but I kept eyeing this little runt of a dog who was guarding the food bowl.  He was the smallest one but he was tough and I loved his spicey ‘tude.

So, I said to the breeder. “I want that one!” Pointing to the hot tempered one.   He said” Oh no, you don’t want that one.. look at this beautiful Yorkee.”  No, I don’t want a perfect dog, I want character!

So, I picked up my new dog and paid for him and I was off.  I still remember that day like it was yesterday as that dog became my traveling companion for years. Seriously, not weighing over 6 lbs he rode around in fancy purses all around the world.. would share sushi with me while curled up watching a flick..  my friends and I used to sneak him into the hottest clubs in NYC… and we vacationed in Aruba together..    We really are partners in crime!
